Phone videos are often too big to send. This tool re-encodes them as efficient H.264 MP4 with three levels: Low keeps the best quality, High makes the smallest file. Lowering the resolution to 720p or 480p shrinks the file even more.
You always see the original and compressed size. If a video can't be made smaller (for example, it's already highly compressed), we keep the original and tell you instead of handing back a bigger file.
