Resize by pixels or by percentage
Enter an exact width, height or both, for example to meet a website's upload requirements or a social media profile size. With “Keep aspect ratio” on, the image is scaled to fit within the size you give, so nothing gets stretched or squashed.
Or scale by percentage, anywhere from 1% to 400%. Halving a large photo is a quick way to make it email-friendly. We use high-quality Lanczos resampling to keep edges crisp when shrinking.
Making an image bigger can't add detail that wasn't captured, so large upscales will look soft. The result keeps the original format and can be up to 10,000 pixels per side and 50 megapixels in total.
